The theatrical trailer of Chiyaan Vikram’s upcoming film ‘IruMugan’ has been unveiled and it is simply fantastic.

The film seems to be a medical action thriller with Vikram playing three different characters. He is seen as an undercover cop and a transgender villain as well. The breathtaking visuals, adrenaline-pumping background score of Harris Jayaraj and the expressions of Chiyaan are highlights of the trailer. The mystery of Vikram’s transgender character should have kept as suspense until the film’s release.

NithyaMenen and Nayanthara seem to have meaty characters alongside Vikram. Anand Shankar, who scored a hit with ‘Arima Nambi’ in his last attempt, seems to have come up with a content rich subject for a perfect actor like Vikram. The action scenes and the sets are major eye-catchers too.

Titled ‘Inkokkadu’, ‘Iru Mugan’ is slated for a simultaneous release in Telugu as well. Telugu audio will be launched soon with Ram Charan attending as a chief guest.

Top actress Nayanthara has changed gears and is opting for only performance oriented and heroine-oriented subjects these days.

After the successes of ‘Maya’ and ‘Naan Rowdy Dhaan’, Nayan is looking for more heroine-oriented roles in which she gets the maximum screen time to showcase her skills. Nayan will be next seen alongside Vikram in the bilingual film ‘Iru Mugan’. It is titled ‘Inkokkadu’ in Telugu and it will have a simultaneous release with Tamil version.

Film’s director Anand Shankar revealed that Nayan’s stunts and powerful character in the film would make audiences compare her with the police characters played by ‘lady Amitabh Bachchan’ aka Vijayashanti. Nayan is playing a police officer in ‘Iru Mugan’ and the director is confident of her character getting an appraisal of audiences.

Nithya Menen is playing another heroine in the medical thriller.

Chiyaan Vikram, Nayanthara, and Nithya Menen are playing the lead roles in the upcoming film titled as Iru Mugan. The Telugu version of the film has been titled as Inkokadu. The film is being directed by Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame. The makers have completed the shoot in locations like Malaysia, Kashmir, and other places and landed in Chennai now to shoot an important action sequence.

They will soon begin their next schedule in Chennai at a specially erected set in a tech park in Sholinganallur, and shooting will reportedly happen for around five days there, starting from June 1. The shoot will progress in indoor, and 200 artists are expected to take part in the film’s shoot. Soon after wrapping up this schedule, the makers will next shift to Bangkok where they planned a 20 days schedule.

On the occasion of Chiyaan Vikram’s 50th birthday, the makers of his upcoming film ‘Iru Mugan’ have unveiled the teaser and it is nothing short of scintillating.

‘Arima Nambi’ fame Anand Sharkar is the director of this upcoming science fiction medical thriller. The film is made with a high budget and it is expected to be the game changer of hard working Vikram. His last films ‘I’ and ‘10 Enradhukulla’ were not successful.
