Very few people might be aware that one of our Indian cricketer’s wives is actually a divorcee of another. Indian cricketers Dinesh Karthik and Murali Vijay have played for Indian cricket team and had been really good friends. But very few know that Murali Vijay was the reason for Dinesh Karthik’s divorce with his wife.

Cricketer Murali Vijay, who generally plays Test matches for India, and wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik had been good friends until Vijay allegedly got involved in a love affair with Karthik’s wife, Nikita.

Dinesh Kartik and Nikita got married in 2007. As the families of the two were close, their childhood friendship was turned into wife and husband relation. They had a good relationship until Nikita was introduced to Murali Vijay in 2012.

When Dinesh came to know about his wife’s alleged romantic fling with Murali, he divorced her and avoided media ruckus. Nikita was pregnant when Karthik divorced her. Soon after her divorce, she married Vijay. Both Vijay and Dinesh Karthik have been very secretive about this entire episode, so only a few knew this.

Later, Kartik married squash player Dipika Pallikal.
