IIFA awards event has taken place in a grand manner in Hyderabad some days back. The event has become a grand success and many stars from the Tollywood film industry have attended the event. Meanwhile, the event was hosted by young heroes Nani and Rana Daggubati. Both of them are very good friends, and they have hosted the event in a complete fun filled environment by making fun of each other every now and then. A video of Rana Daggubati talking about Nani was aired at the event and it has got a lot of fun stuff.

When Rana was asked about to give a video byte about Nani, he literally vents out his frustration and abuses Nani in a bad way. The entire video will be shown on the stage. But on a final note, this entire proceeding is for evoking some laughs and Rana also does not mean what he actually spoke.

The most prestigious International Indian Film Academy Award festival for South was started in Hyderabad yesterday.

Divided into two days, yesterday the awards were presented to Tamil and Malayalam industries. Rana and Siva hosted for Tamil part. They entered in a moped and entertained all with their jokes. Whereas the Malayalam part is hosted by Tina Tom and lovely girl Mane who entered in a car. Despite Red carpet, the organizers used Green carpet. Jeeva and others have performed with their electrifying dances. Many directors and producers have attended yesterday to see the function. Today the Telugu and Kannada film industries will get awards for the winners. Rana and Nani will host the Telugu part. Akul Balaji and Meghana will host Kannada part. Some Telugu technicians and actors attended the yesterday event who has some knowledge of Tamil language and industry. A.R Rahman stood as the center of attraction.

For today’s event, it is expected that many actors, actresses, technicians, producers and directors of will grace the event. All are waiting for the Rana and Nani anchoring.

The most happening award glitterati, IIFA 2014 is again in trouble. The organizers of IIFA, Wizcraft have been sued by a Florida based travel agent Akarsh Kolaprath for as much as 7 million dollars for the breach of trust.

All the problems started off with the schedule. The ceremony that was to be held in Florida was pushed with a delay in schedule as April 24th is the voting day for the people in Mumbai.But the travel agency has already made all the arrangements incurring heavy losses that account to nearly 4 million dollars.

Three years ago, Kolaprath signed a contract with Viraf Sarkari and Andre Timmins of Wizcraft, and helped out the company in organizing the finances and making all the
arrangements for the award ceremonies in US. This includes the travel and accommodation of all the Bollywood celebrities at plush places. Kolaprath claims to have spent nearly 2,65,000 dollars on just fulfilling the travel requirements and ceremony consultations. Wizcraft, however this time, made its own alternate arrangements without informing Akarsh due to which his company 7M suffered atrocious losses.

Akrash Kolaprath has now demanded the 3 percent revenue to be shared by Wizcraft out of the 17.5 million dollars it usually earns with the ceremony. He further filed another claim that includes all the revenues to be paid to him which are earned in excess of 17.5 number quoted.

The director of Wizcraft, Sabas Joseph has stated that all the accusations of Kolaprath were false and that will revert with the actual state of affairs shortly.

The Munni of Bollywood is also a fashion icon. Malaika Arora is known for her extreme style sense, her own line The Closet Label and her sex appeal. So it gets highly deserving if Malaika is chosen to be the hot showstopper for IIFA Rocks.

The sexy actress will be walking the ramp for top designer Vikran Phadnis at the upcoming fashion event at IIFA Awards in Florida.

Vikram Phadnis is also a popular name among the Bollywood ladies, known for his amazing creations. He will be making an international entry at Tampa Bay to showcase his work at IIFA Awards.

The theme called ‘Nazaakat’ will see Malaika Arora strutting down as a showstopper of the event. Malaika is known for her no flaw performance both as a model and an item girl in the industry.

The actress shared her excitement with PTI – “I am excited to be walking at IIFA Rocks this year. The Nazaakat collection is all about celebrating feminists. Elegant Indian wear in rich hues are an all-time favourite and are guaranteed to be a runaway hit. Vikram is not just a brilliant designer but is a dear friend. The collection deserves to be showcased in a global scale” she said.

IIFA Awards, known for its Bollywood attendance in full every year, will see celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor attending the event. Some more prominent names are in the guest list who will make it to the event at Florida this year.
