Director Sampath Nandi is all set to re-create the magic of his blockbuster Racha with an upcoming flick. Sampath has launched the movie, titled ‘Paper Boy’ at an event attended by Tollywood stars Gopichand and Catherine Tresa in Hyderabad on Thursday. Catherine directed the first shot of the movie.

Tipped to be a low-budget venture, it has Santosh Shoban and newcomer Aishwarya Vhatkar playing lead roles. Sampath himself has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the musical love story to be helmed by Jay Shankar for Sampath Nandi Creative Works, which is floated by Sampath.

‘Paper Boy’ marks Sampath’s second outing as producer after his debut, ”Galipatam’, which had Aadi playing the lead role. However, it failed to evoke any impact in the box office. Sampath is currently busy with his upcoming entertainer starring Gopichand, Catherine Tresa and Hansika Motwani.

Malayalam beauty Catherine Tresa is trying hard to enter top league of heroines in Tollywood. As a result, she is trying to prove her Telugu skills for her upcoming flick.

Mass action hero Gopichand has teamed up with director Sampath Nandi for an interesting action entertainer. The film’s shooting started some time back in the last year, and as per the latest update, the shoot has entered the final schedule. This last schedule is a massive one as several important sequences are being shot in this schedule by the unit. Three songs and the talkie part will be wrapped up in this non-stop schedule. As per reports, Sakshi will be dancing for a sizzling item song in Oxygen. A special Dhaba set was erected at Ramoji Film City to film this song also featuring Raashi Khanna, Gopichand, and Ali. Senior choreographer Brinda called the shots for this item song.

Sakshi Chaudhary was introduced to Tollywood by Manchu Manoj with Potugadu, but the real sensuous avatar of this lady was seen in Allari Naresh starrer movies James Bond and Selfie Raja.

R Narayana Murthy, who is called People’s star by his fans, has made a name for himself by doing revolutionary films. The senior actor has reportedly given a soft warning to hero Gopichand.

We have already reported that Gopichand, R Narayana Murthy, Dasari Narayana Rao, etc. took part in the launch ceremony of a book written on T Krishna, father of Gopichand. Krishna has made revolutionary films like Neti Bharatam, Repati Pourulu, etc.

Speaking at the event, Narayana Murthy praised Krishna for making movies to highlight the plight of people and reprimanded Gopichand for acting in commercial films instead of the kinds of films his father made. He softly but domineeringly asked Gopichand to start thinking of taking forward the legacy of his father instead of doing jumping jack roles in so-called commercial films.

Macho hero Gopichand has recently gotten emotional on stage while launching the book “Venditera Aruna Kiranam T. Krishna”, the biography of his father T Krishna.

“Most of the things mentioned in this book are I don’t aware of. I was eight when my father died, so I don’t know much about him. When people tell me about my father and how he used to conceive scenes, I feel very emotional as the legend of my father was such that even three decades after his death, people still didn’t forget him,” Gopichand said with tears almost rolling from his eyes.

He added that he couldn’t thank the author enough for writing the book on his father. ‘I have already finished reading half of it in a day and I will complete the remaining very soon,’ he said.

Both of them have reportedly argued over some scenes resulting in both parting ways. This resulted in a serious environment on the sets and the shoot was delayed and post production works were kept on hold. “Oxygen” was earlier planned to release in the month of October but it has got delayed. Raashi Khanna and Anu Emmanuel have played the female lead roles in the film.

The birthday celebrations were held in Bangkok, where the actor is filming for his new film in the direction of Sampath Nandi. In the picture, both Gopichand and his son were seen wearing the same color, white shirt. The macho actor revealed that ever since he has become a father, his life changed for the good.

‘I forget all the tensions when I see Virat’s face after reaching home. My wife Reshma always complains that I have been spending a lot of time with Virat instead of with her,’ the exhilarating dad said.

On work front, Hansika is playing the leading lady of Gopichand in his new film, which will mostly be shot in Bangkok.

The actor is shooting for his actioner Oxygen and at the same time, he was also busy with the shoot of another untitled project in the direction of Sampath Nandi. This big budgeted entertainer will begin the first schedule in Bangkok from 22nd September. The film unit is excited about kick-starting this new schedule soon. The lengthy schedule is expected to last for 30 days where the important scenes and a song is expected to be shot. A total of 70 members from casting and technical crew are taking part in the shoot at Bangkok.
