Director Sampath Nandi is all set to re-create the magic of his blockbuster Racha with an upcoming flick. Sampath has launched the movie, titled ‘Paper Boy’ at an event attended by Tollywood stars Gopichand and Catherine Tresa in Hyderabad on Thursday. Catherine directed the first shot of the movie.
Tipped to be a low-budget venture, it has Santosh Shoban and newcomer Aishwarya Vhatkar playing lead roles. Sampath himself has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the musical love story to be helmed by Jay Shankar for Sampath Nandi Creative Works, which is floated by Sampath.
‘Paper Boy’ marks Sampath’s second outing as producer after his debut, ”Galipatam’, which had Aadi playing the lead role. However, it failed to evoke any impact in the box office. Sampath is currently busy with his upcoming entertainer starring Gopichand, Catherine Tresa and Hansika Motwani.
