Akhil4 Continues Shoot Without Heroine

Akhil Akkineni, who is yet to score a hit in his career, is hoping to succeed with his fourth film. But things are really not going in favor of him. This movie which is being directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar has been launched a couple of months back in Hyderabad. The heroine isn’t finalized yet and it was reported that she will be finalized after the first schedule.

Now, the first schedule has been already wrapped up and the second schedule will start in a few days in a house set in Kukatpally area. But still, the makers are yet to rope in the leading lady. Many names like Rashmika Mandanna and Kiara Advani popped up but neither of them has signed it.

We still don’t what is the reason behind not finalizing the heroine yet. Akhil has acted with relatively new heroines until now and we have to see who will pair up with him in this film. This untitled project is being bankrolled by Bunny Vaas under GA2 pictures. Gopi Sunder is composing the music.

Gopi Sunder wants CM Oommen Chandy to sing!

Bizarre as it sounds, it’s true! Gopi Sunder expressed his desire to make the current Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy sing, in a television interview he gave recently!

Oomen-Chandey-Gopi-Sunder

Well now, that’s an odd wish if there ever was one.. but here’s the reason. As a music composer and producer, Gopi apparently is always on the lookout for interesting voices and it looks like he found one he likes in the veteran Congress politician.

“I don’t have the courage to ask him directly about this,” says the very talented musical wizard, “but if he says yes, I would be thrilled to write a song for him to sing.”

This song wouldn’t be in a movie though, he added. No folks, this very hypothetical song would be an independent one made just for Mr Chandy’s many admirers in the state. Imagine the hit that would make – surely the party itself would make use of it come next election time and maybe even for years to come.

Talk about an ‘unexpected’ popular hit in the making!

Gopi’s dreams are ambitious to say the least but he has proven himself capable of carrying them through to a finish. The young composer recently started his own music production company titled simply as the Gopi Dunder Music Company.

The aim of this, he said was to make low budget, high quality music and to find new raw talent and to polish it up. The company would own any and all music created by him in the future.

Gopi has also been invited to Bollywood next year to compose for certain films to be produced under the banner of actor/producer John Abraham’s company. The sensational Bollywood hero was enthralled by Gopi’s music in the film Ustaad Hotel and decided to use him for some of his own films, according to sources.

So Kerala’s own Gopi Sunder may soon be creating foot tapping numbers for a national and maybe even international audience!

Wishing you all the best and keep rocking us with your music..

Gopi Sunder goes to Bollywood!

Gopi Sunder is undoubtedly one of the most sought after music directors in the south Indian film industry and definitely the reigning champion of the field in Mollywood. The young musical wizard is now taking his talent and skills to a more or less national audience by making his entry in to Bollywood the coming year!

His work in the movie Usthaad Hotel, which marked the debut of Dulquer Salman, seems to have a attracted a biggie from the Mumbai film fraternity and that is none other than actor/producer John Abraham!

The talented artist and heartthrob was so impressed by Gopi’s work in the flick that he has invited him to work on some of the movies being produced next year under the banner of his own company.

Gopi too had recently started his own music company recently, simply christened the Gopi Sunder Music Company, which aims to promote quality musical productions and albums on relatively low budgets in order to find and foster new talent.

The company will own the rights to any music Gopi creates henceforth. So will that deal work with the big bad Bollywood productions too? We’ll have to see.

This exciting entry in to mainstream Hindi cinema is not, however, Gopi’s first foray in to that glamorous arena. He had sung a song called Thithili with Chinmayi for the Shahrukh Khan – Deepika Padukone starrer hit Chennai Express.

He doesn’t stop there with this expansion of fame, so to speak, as he also has an upcoming project in Telugu.

Well, well Mr. Sunder… hold steady with this course and you may find all your dreams coming true. Good luck sir!

His dream, the new enterprise, began ceremoniously by launching the music CD of the upcoming movie The Last Supper directed by Vinyl Vasu for which Gopi composed the tunes. For some time now, the promotion of the movie had been going on in Mammootty’s own Facebook page.

“I hope this attempt will cut down the cost of making musicals and make low budget productions possible. The idea is to promote new talent and find untapped potential inexpensively,” said Gopi.

Several big names in the industry attended the function including actors, directors and producers. Some in attendance were Dulquar Salman, Unni Mukundan, Pearle Manney, Devan, Nivin Pauly, P Jayachandran, Lal Jose, Rosshan Andrrews and Sibi Malayil among others.
