Superstar Rajnikanth is supposed to do a film with Gautam Vasudev Menon but the project got called off. Gautam Menon has confirmed the same recently and now has given a clarity that the project is not going to happen.

Gautam Menon said that he might not team up with Rajnikanth anytime soon and also revealed an interesting aspect that the film Dhruva Natchathiram was supposed to do with Rajnikanth but as Rajni moved on to another project in the last minute. Gautam Menon has then approached Vikram and started the film.

Gautam Menon said that Rajnikanth did not do this film because he was polluted by some unnecessary people from the industry. Rajini is currently busy shooting for the film in the direction of Karthik Subbaraj.

Director Gautham Vasudevan Menon met with a road accident in Chennai. According to media reports, the ace director’s car was hit by a tipper lorry at around 3:30 am at Chennai’s East Coast Road.

The director was said to be travelling to Mahabalipuram. Luckily, Gautham escaped the accident with minor injuries while his car was crushed. Reports also suggested that the lorry and Gautham’s had a head-on collision, leaving the front of the car completely damaged.

Gautham is currently working on Dhuruva Natachathiram with Vikram, Andrea Jeremiah and Aishwarya Rajesh among others. Dhruva Natchathiram is being bankrolled by his home banner Ondraga Entertainment.

He is also bankrolling Dhuruvangal Pathinaru fame Karthick Naren’s second film Naragasooran. Apart from these, the director is also launching a web series Weekend Machan on his YouTube channel Ondraga Entertainment.

Gautham Menon is well known for his Telugu – Tamil bilingual films. After making ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ as a bilingual, now he is making ‘Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo’ as bilingual. As per latest reports, now he is planning to make his next film in four south Indian languages. For this project, he is keen on roping stylish star Allu Arjun for Telugu, Simbu for Tamil, Puneet Rajkumar for Kannada and Fahad Fazil from Malayalam versions.

As per buzz, Gautham Menon himself will produce the Tamil and Malayalam versions with Puneet Rajkumar producing the Kannada version. However, there is still no clarity on the producer for the Telugu version. The project with Gautham Menon might be the next film of Allu Arjun after ‘Sarainodu’ in Boyapati Sreenu’s direction.
