The actress said that she hasn’t signed this film and revealed that she is busy working in a Telugu film with Chiranjeevi, and a film with Thala Ajith, Kavalai Vendam with Jiiva and another Telugu project with Rana Daggubati. She indirectly hinted that she might not be a part of Garuda.

Hero Chiyaan Vikram has completed shooting for the science fiction thriller flick “Iru Mugan” (Inkokkadu in Telugu) under the direction of Anand Shankar. The film is getting ready to hit the big screens in the month of September. Meanwhile, Director Thiru has made an interesting announcement regarding his and Vikram’s forthcoming film “Garuda”.

As for the sources, director Thiru has announced that the team will soon kick-start the shoot of the film “Garuda” and he will be making official announcements related to the project in a couple of days. The film is said to be an action thriller, which features Vikram and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles for the first time. It’s going to be shot in three different places like Oman of Saudi Arabia, Delhi, and Ladakh. Music composer Girinandh is making his debut with this film.

If the latest reports are to be believed, the South Star Suriya will also be part of the much awaited project, which will be based on the epic Mahabharata.

It has been reported that Surya will collaborate with the hit filmmaker, who had earlier expressed his desire to work with the superstar during the promotional events of Baahubali. It is believed that Surya has also given a positive nod to do a pivotal role in the film.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that Young Tiger Jr NTR will be doing a lead role in the film.

Chiyaan Vikram will be seen romancing Kajal Aggarwal for the first time in his upcoming film Garuda. The movie, which is to be directed by Thiru of Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai fame, will go on floors from next month. Interestingly, the director has roped in Bollywood actor Mahesh Manjrekar to play the movie’s main antagonist.

In a recent media interaction, Thiru said that Mahesh Manjrekar’s personality was apt for the role. Thiru further added that the multifaceted personality will come to Chennai for the first day of the shooting.

Art director Maya Pandi, who had worked in Kanithan, has erected a huge set of a factory on a 100-acre land near Sriperumbudur for the film. Garuda, which is speculated to be an action thriller, will have its cinematography cranked by Richard M Nathan. A newcomer named Kirinth will compose music, while Silver line Film Factory will bankroll the project.

After completing the film’s first shooting schedule at Sriperumbudur, the team will reportedly move on to locales like Pollachi, Ahmedabad and Lucknow. The team is also working hard to device a brand new look for the Iru Mugan star.

On the other end, Vikram is busy with Anand Shankar’s Iru Mugan, which is being shot now. It is a science-fiction thriller that has Nayantara and Nithya Menen as the female leads.

The combination of Young Tiger NTR Jr and Sensational director SS Rajamouli had given three blockbusters: Student No.1, Simhadri and Yamadonga.
