The happening actress Rakul Preet Singh, who is currently enjoying the success of her latest release ‘Dhruva’, has revealed that she has very big plans for the New Year celebrations.

Rakul said that she will head to Goa and will chill out on the beaches from December 30 to 1st January, to welcome the New Year. Well, she is not going alone but with around 25 of her girlfriends.

The busy lady is currently shooting for Sai Dharam Tej’s film, director Boyapati’s new movie and Naga Chaitanya’s film. She added that she has already informed to the makers of all of her films about her unavailability during those three days.

It is heard that Rakul is receiving many lucrative offers to perform in private functions on the eve of New Year but she seems to have chosen fun over money.

The distributors of mega power star Ram Charan’s latest release ‘Dhruva’ were scared when the action thriller collected just par on its 1st day despite positive reviews and word-of-mouth.

However, ‘Dhruva’ sustained and posted great numbers on Saturday – 5 Cr and Sunday -5.5 Cr to post a healthy Rs 21 Cr opening weekend in the Telugu states.

In overseas, ‘Dhruva’ has already become the biggest grosser for Ram Charan. Although the number from premiere shows was slightly lower than expectations, ‘Dhruva’ managed to do well and is likely to join the 1 million club by its first Monday.

Makers of Ram Charan’s latest release ‘Dhruva’ were in jitters soon after realizing that the film was leaked on youtube.

On Sunday evening, a piracy print of Dhruva surfaced on youtube. The miscreants behind this callous act are unknown yet, but the makers acted quickly and removed the piracy version from youtube with the help of the anti-piracy team.

The film, on the other hand, is doing exceptional business across the Telugus states. The film has raked in Rs 22.5 Cr worldwide share in the first two days itself and is marching ahead with great collections especially in A centers.

Coming to overseas, Dhruva has already become the highest grossing Charan starrer in just two days with over $800K collections. The action thriller is expected to enter the coveted 1 million club shortly.

The film, however, will have to collect at least Rs 55 Cr share to be called a safe venture.
