Ever since its release, Kabir Singh is facing troubles from the critics and a few sections of audience. Despite all this backlash about the male toxicity and misogynistic nature, the film is performing excellently at the box office. It crossed the 100 crores mark as well, the other day.

Meanwhile, the film has sparked up a fresh controversy as a complaint was filed on it by Mumbai based doctor, Pradeep Gadge. Stating that the film has showcased doctors in a negative light, Gadge asked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to stop the screenings of the movie.

He also added that the movie will damage the reputation of doctors. Gadge is a renowned diabetologist in Mumbai. Anyways, the I&B Ministry is yet to take a decision on this request. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh is an official remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy.
