Colors Swathi got married to her longtime boyfriend Vikas on Thursday night. Vikas is working as a pilot. Unlike the other celebrity weddings which take place grandly, Swathi got married in a simple manner like a normal girl.

The wedding took place as a close-knit affair attended by only family members and close friends. Interestingly, no one from the film industry graced the event. It seems like it is entirely Swathi’s decision. She wanted to have a simple wedding with a limited number of guests. The newlywed couple is going to conduct a reception party on September 2nd in Cochin. Got popular as a TV anchor with ‘Colors’ program, Swathi did some supporting roles in movies like ‘Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule’ etc and became a heroine with ‘Danger’ movie.

As a female lead, Swathi has scored so many hits like ‘Ashta Chemma’, ‘Swamy Rara’, ‘Karthikeya’ etc. Swathi confirmed that she is going to act in movies even after marriage.

Swathi Reddy who became popular with the TV show Colours is well known among the Telugu audience. The actress has been in a relationship with an international pilot, Vikas for a long time and is all set to get married. The wedding is going to take place at Hyderabad on 30th August and the newlyweds couple will organize a reception in Cochin on September 2nd. Vikas is from Kerala and is currently working in for Malaysian Airlines.

As Vikas resides in Jakarta, Indonesia, so Swathi is getting ready to relocate herself after the wedding.

Swathi marked her silver screen debut with ‘Danger’ movie and acted in so many hit films like ‘Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule’ in supporting role and the lead role in ‘Ashta Chamma’, ‘Swamy Ra Ra’, ‘Karthikeya’, ‘Tripura’ etc.

Dazzling actress Swathi is not being heard or seen anywhere on the silver screen these days. After the failure of Tripura last year, she didn’t get any new offers from the filmmakers.

Dried offers has reportedly made Colors Swathi to think of marriage. If the latest reports are to be believed that her mother is already searching for good alliances for her. Swathi is now 29 years. She is also planning to settle down in life and lead life happily than waiting for offers.

Although she has a couple of Tamil movies on hand right now, her mother is planning to marry her off by this year end. Earlier she was linked with hero Nikhil Siddharth, but Swathi denied that she never dated him.
