Mega Star Chiranjeevi is all set to make his comeback in a grand manner with the film Kathilantodu, the official remake of AR Muragadoss and Vijay’s Kathi. VV Vinayak will be directing the film. Mega Power Star Ram Charan is going to produce the film on Konidela Production Company. Kathilantodu is the title of the film. The film’s official launch took place in a grand manner and the makers announced that the regular shoot of the film will begin by the end of May. But, here is a disappointing news for all the Mega fans that there is further delay in the film to take off.

Apparently for the reasons best known to the film unit, they have decided to push the start date of the film’s shoot. The film’s regular shoot will now begin by the end of June or the first week of July. The film unit is still in search of a heroine for the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. If everything goes well, the film will release for next year’s Sankranthi.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun as part of the promotions of the film Sarrainodu has been to Bangalore yesterday and interacted with the press there. For the first time, he has been to Bangalore to communicate with the press, and he revealed several interesting things. V.V. Vinayak, who had earlier worked with Chiranjeevi for ‘Tagore’ is currently busy scripting for this much-hyped film.

Ever since the news of Chiranjeevi acting in his 150th film cropped up, multiple kinds of rumours regarding the project were doing the rounds. No official confirmation had surfaced.

The film is rumoured to be a family drama, on the lines of ‘Manam’. However, Chiranjeevi’s family will not be coming together for this film.

A source close to the project says, “Yes. The film will be produced by Geetha Arts in all probability. Earlier it was set to be produced by Ram Charan. However, due to his busy schedule he wont be able to do the same. Let’s hope Chiru Anna’s 150th film will be worth the wait!”

If all goes well, the movie is also hoping to be launched on Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s birthday, that is, on the 22nd of August.
