As per latest reports, director VV Vinayak is making megastar Chiranjeevi resurge his iconic Veena step from ‘Indra’ in his 150th film.

Chiranjeevi is the first actor to use break dance and different kinds of innovative dance movements in Telugu films. Although he has several signature steps to his name, the Veena step composed by Raghava Lawrence for ‘Indra’ movie became a sensation. Several heroines have tried to replicate Veena step in their respective dance performances on stage in the recently held award functions. Even Pawan Kalyan has tried his hand at Veena step in ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’.

Vinayak seems to have now decided to make Chiru try the step once again in his 150th film whose shooting is currently progressing. Comedian turned hero Sunil will also shake a leg with Chiru. Although Sunil was approached earlier to play the role of a comedian, he could not take up the opportunity due to his busy schedule.

The regular shooting of megastar Chiranjeevi’s much delayed and much awaited 150th project is all set to go on floors on June 20.

The first schedule will begin on June 20 in Ramoji Film City. VV Vinayak will direct the film to be music scored by Devi Sri Prasad. Heroine to romance Chiru has not been announced yet even though the name of Anushka Shetty is strongly heard. Ram Charan is producing the film on his newly floated Konidela Productions Company. Lyca Productions will serve as co-producer.

Tentatively titled ‘Katthilantodu’, the film is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster film ‘Katthi’. Vinayak has worked hard with his team of writers to fine tune the sensitive subject to the taste of Telugu audiences. The hard-hitting subject of farmers’ plight has to be narrated in an entertaining manner to reach the sky-high expectations.

As per the latest reports, megastar Chiranjeevi has been signed for a huge Rs 30 Cr remuneration for his 150th film tentatively titled ‘Kathilantodu’.

Ram Charan is producing the prestigious film on Konidela Production Company. Charan himself fixed the remuneration for his father. Actually, with Charan producing the project, it doesn’t matter if Chiranjeevi gets paid or not as with or without remuneration, the profits from the project would stay in the family itself. What is the purpose of taking and putting back the money in house?

Ram Charan seems to be trying hard to prove that Chiranjeevi has not his sheen and he still is the highest paid actor even though he quit films 8 years ago. No Telugu actor has received Rs 30 Cr remuneration till now.

He also asked mega fans to keep a tab on his Facebook page to know the regular updates of the launch event of his father megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, which will be launched at 1:30 pm today.

As Chiranjeevi is a devotee of Anjaneya, Ram Charan must have embedded his face in the logo of his production house. We all know that Chiranjeevi’s mother’s name is Anjana Devi, which is the name of a mother of Lord Hanuman. Mega brother Naga Babu’s production house was also named Anjana Productions.

Chiranjeevi’s 150th film will be directed by VV Vinayak’s direction, and Charan has already registered ‘Kathilantodu’ title for this most awaited film. Top Cinematographer Ratnavelu said that he was fortunate to be part of Chiranjeevi’s prestigious 150th movie.

Sensational director VV Vinayak is considering Chiranjeevi’s 150th film as very special and prestigious. He is doing puja hoping for the good. After a long waiting, he has grabbed the project. Initially, it was Puri Jagannadh who has to direct the film. But after series of events, the project fell into the hands of the senior director. He was seen with the film’s script at Antarvedhi Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple and got puja done for the script. The film’s regular shoot will begin soon. Ram Charan turns producer for this film. R Rathnavelu is the cinematographer and Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.

We are all familiar with Puri Jagannadh-Chiranjeevi movie got cornered because of Chiranjeevi felt that the second half of the story narrated by Puri wasn’t convincing.

In a recent interview, Puri said that Chiranjeevi didn’t give any reply after listening to the complete story that he narrated. He found that Chiru didn’t like the second half from an interview given by Chiranjeevi.

Puri Jagannadh, who claims to be the biggest fan of Chiru, has made a firm decision on making a film with Mega Star. It may be his 150th or 151st, but Puri says that he is gonna direct him.

Puri Jagannadh in his Twitter posted an image in Telugu, saying that he has more right to direct Chiru’s 150th movie because he is the biggest fan of Chiranjeevi. How shall Chiru appear on screen is only imaginable by me, not even he (Chiranjeevi) knows how to put himself on the silver screen.

A report by a prominent media house had earlier stated that Ram Charan would be producing his father’s 150th film.

However,if rumours are anything to go by, then Geetha Arts will be producing this prestigious and much-anticipated project.

V.V. Vinayak, who had earlier worked with Chiranjeevi for ‘Tagore’ is currently busy scripting for this much-hyped film.

Ever since the news of Chiranjeevi acting in his 150th film cropped up, multiple kinds of rumours regarding the project were doing the rounds. No official confirmation had surfaced.

The film is rumoured to be a family drama, on the lines of ‘Manam’. However, Chiranjeevi’s family will not be coming together for this film.

A source close to the project says, “Yes. The film will be produced by Geetha Arts in all probability. Earlier it was set to be produced by Ram Charan. However, due to his busy schedule he wont be able to do the same. Let’s hope Chiru Anna’s 150th film will be worth the wait!”

If all goes well, the movie is also hoping to be launched on Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s birthday, that is, on the 22nd of August.
