Super Star Mahesh Babu scored a big hit with Koratala Siva in the past and the movie is titled as Srimanthudu. The film talks about village adoption. Mahesh Babu has come forward to adopt the village Burripalem where his father took birth. On the other side, he also adopted Siddhapuram village in Telangana state. He has been doing the welfare as well as the development activities in both the Telugu states in an aggressive manner. Mahesh Babu reconstructed the government school and we have come to know that it was opened by the local MLA Rajendra Prasad.

The school was named after his grandmother’s name Naga Rathnamma. She is the mother to Super Star Krishna. A lot of people have come to witness the grand opening of the school in the village. Mahesh Babu is certainly happy over all the welfare activities being carried in a big way. The local people are expressing their happiness over the good things being done by the superstar.

It is a known thing that the star hero Mahesh Babu adopted the village Burripalem after the release of the movie Srimanthudu. He has been helping the villagers of Burripalem every now and then. This time, the ardent fans of Mahesh Babu have conducted a mega health camp in Burripalem marking the happy occasion of Mahesh’s birthday. Knowing this news, Mahesh expressed his happiness via his micro blogging site. He claimed that he is more than happy for organizing the health camp. He thanked his fans and doctors who made this camp a reality.

Doctors and volunteers have educated the villagers about many unknown and rare diseases. They have conducted free check-ups and distributed medicines for health issues all the day.

It is known that superstar Mahesh Babu had adopted Burripalem village near Tenali, which was the birthplace of his father Krishna, at the time of ‘Srimanthudu’.

The actor has been working in tandem with the government official towards transforming the village. Mahesh has just a while ago posted a few pics on his facebook page to update his followers about the change in the village post his adoption of the village.

“Pictures of Burripalem main road after drain to drain expansion using MPLAD funds. Another landmark achieved !! Thank you Jayadev Galla for ur continuous efforts and support,” Mahesh posted.

Mahesh’s brother-in-law and Guntur MP Galla Jaydev has reportedly used the funds from his MP quota to lay new roads and refurbish the drainage system of the village. Mahesh thanked him for doing this kind work for the village people.

Superstar Mahesh Babu adopted two villages each in the two Telugu states. He announced this during the time of Srimanthudu and finally he made some time to visit the village he adopted. One of the two villages he adopted is his hometown Burripalem. The actor on Sunday visited the village and launched the development works worth 2.14 crore rupees. His wife Namratha and brother in law Jaydev are looking after the development activities.

Mahesh Babu has received a great and grand welcome from the people of Burripalem. The fans, movie lovers and the local crowd turned in huge numbers to welcome Mahesh in the hot sun. Mahesh was overwhelmed with all the love he has received. Later while speaking with media, Mahesh Babu revealed the future plan in the development of Burripalem. Mahesh Babu promised that he will visit the village every now and then and wished to see Burripalem as a Model Village. Mahesh revealed that providing education and health to all is his primary priority in the development of Burripalem.

Mahesh was accompanied by his brother-in-law and Guntur MP Galla Jaydev and his uncle, Ghattamaneni Adi Seshagiri Rao. Later on, Mahesh Babu took to Twitter to thank everyone. “It was an amazing Homecoming at Burripalem today. I was humbled by all the love and affection shown to me. I would like to thank all the villagers, fans, leaders, officials, police and media (esp. @jaygalla) for making it such a special day..I seek everyone’s help in making Burripalem a model village” Mahesh tweeted. He will soon visit the village he adopted in Telangana state.

Namratha, wife of Mahesh Babu, toured Burripalem, the native village of her father-in-law Superstar Krishna today. It is already a known fact that Mahesh Babu has adopted this village to make it into an ideal and developed village.

The work has already begun, and Namratha checked the progress in Burripalem. Namrata is accompanied by Galla Jayadev, Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law and local MP.

After the release of Srimanthudu, Mahesh Babu announced that he will be adopting two villages. One is Burripalem in Andhra Pradesh, and the other is Siddhapuram village in Telangana. Due to his hectic schedule, Mahesh Babu is not able to join his family members.

The residents of Burripalem requested Namratha to improve drainage facilities and also requested to provide facilities for the Unemployed candidates.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for Brahmostavam, which is being directed by Srikanth Addala. The film is scheduled to hit the screens in May.

Super star Mahesh babu is not only ‘Srimanthudu’ in reel life but he is proving to be a real life Srimanthudu as well. After adopting his dad Krishna’s native village Burripalem, now he has adopted one of the most backward villages of Mahabubnagar district. Mahesh himself informed this news by tweeting, ‘He suggested I adopt a village from the most backward district of Mahbubnagar as part of their #GramaJyothi initiative. Earlier Mahesh confirmed adopting Burripalem by tweeting, ‘The #SmartVillage initiative lead by @ncbn garu prompted me to adopt my own village, Burripalem. This would not have happened without the support of my brother-in-law, @jaygalla, MP from Guntur’.
