Star music director Devi Sri Prasad has revealed that he has started music sittings for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’.

Devi revealed that the music sittings are currently under progress in the US. Devi had earlier scored music for Balakrishna’s ‘Legend’ and his music has played key role in the success of that film. Hence expectations are high on his music for this legendary film.

Acclaimed director Krish is directing Balakrishna in this historical film. The formal launch has recently happened with the attendance of stalwarts of film and political fields. First schedule will begin in Morocco and it will last for 40 days. Heroine of the film is not decided yet.

Dream girl Hemamalini is in talks to play the role of Balakrishna’s mother. Makers are planning to release the film for Sankranthi 2017.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is trending now in the film industry for the launch of his new film titled Gautamiputra Satakarni. This is a 100th film for Balakrishna in his career. The story of the film is based on the life of the Andhra ruler who is said to have ruled over entire India. Sr NTR planned to do this film but some how it did not materialize. But Balayya is going to make Sr NTR’s dream come true. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Victory Venkatesh and some other prominent personalities from the world of film like Dasari Narayana Rao, Raghavendra Rao, Singeetham Srinivas Rao along with few political personalities were present at the film’s launch event today morning which was held at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

Everyone including KCR who was present at the event praised the film unit and also wished the entire film unit a big success. What surprised everyone is that many of Nandamuri family members especially Jr NTR not present at the event. There have been several rumours in the film circles that all is not well between Nandamuri family members. The absence of Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram at the launch of this prestigious mile stone film once again proves that. There is no clarity about Balakrishna inviting him. Most of the film personalities who could not make it to the event wished Balayya and team on their social media profiles. When Nandamuri fans expected a single tweet from Jr NTR about the film, the actor disappointed again with silence.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most awaited 100th film is all set to take off on 22nd of this month.

On the eve of Ugadi festival, Balakrishna has officially launched his 100th film, which is based on the story of Sathavahana king Gauthamiputra Satakarni. While the movie is being directed by National Award winning Krish, it has music score by Devi Sri Prasad.

The film will go on floors on April 22nd, amidst industry bigwigs, politicians, and fans at Annapurna Studios. The event is going to be a spectacular one as who is who of the film industry and politicians are going to be invited. The heroine for “Gauthamiputhra Satakarni” has not been finalized yet. We strongly hear the names of Nayanthara and Kajal Aggarwal.

The film is being produced by First Frame Entertainments and makers are aiming to release it for coming Sankranthi.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s much awaited 100th film will be launched tomorrow in the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati.

The official information has come out that the muhurtham has been fixed at 10.30 AM in the morning, tomorrow. Balakrishna, Director Krish, Producers and the major technicians will be attending the launch event.

It may be noted that acclaimed director Krish has impressed Balayya with a story based on the life of GouthamiputhraSathakarni. Major shooting of this film will be done in African country Morocco. It is said that huge budget has been allocated for this epic film.

More details about the heroine and other technicians will come out tomorrow. Script work is already finished, and the shooting will commence soon. Makers are targeting for Sankranthi 2017 release.

While Megastar Chiranjeevi is still undecided about his 150th film announcement, Nandamuri Balakrishna is showing huge enthusiasm to start his milestone 100th flick. Both the veteran stars are ready to start their respective films in next few months but Balayya, who has just released his 99th movie ‘Dictator’, appears to be the first one to start shooting.

In his recent media interactions, Balayya already made it clear that his 100th film will not be directed by Boyapati Srinu but by veteran Singeetam Srinivas Rao. It will be ‘Aditya 999’, the sequel to the classic movie ‘Aditya 369’ of the 90s. As Boyapati is busy with other commitments, Balayya decided not to wait for him and go ahead with Singeetham.

Meanwhile, after a long delay, megastar has decided to remake Kathi and chose VV Vinayak as the director, but he is yet to announce the film.

At present, Balakrishna in deeply indulged in the finishing off ‘Dictator.’ Sriwass is the director for this action drama film. The makers of ‘Dictator’ have already announced that the audio will come out in December, whereas the movie on 14th of January.

Once this film’s shooting gets completed, Balakrishna might opt for some rest. In the meantime, he will sit for some pre-production work for the 100th film. It is reported that the story line narrated by Srinu has immensely impressed Balakrishna who gave a green signal. Top artists in Telugu Cinema are said to be seen in this film.

Boyapati Srinu is currently directing Stylish Star Allu Arjun for ‘Sarainodu.’ This film will complete its shooting formalities by Feb 2016 and will mostly hit the theaters in April. Post ‘Sarainodu,’ Srinu will finalize the 100th film script and takes it on to the sets from June.

Regarding his 100th film many speculations are roaming in Tollywood. Now talk has that Balakrishna’s 100th film title would most probably be ‘Godfather.’

It is always a special moment when an actor is doing his/her 100th film. Once seen at the current generation in Tollywood, it would be a mere joke that one can even see anyone doing 50 films.
