Popular Singer Bashes The Remix Culture

These days, remixing old classics have become a trend in Bollywood. Every other film is rehashing an old classic track into a new version with heavy instrumentation. Many top music directors like Amit Trivedi and Pritam opposed the idea of remixing trend in Bollywood.

Now, popular rap artist and singer Baba Sehgal has also lashed out on this dangerous trend. Recently, he said, “It’s time Bollywood stop recreating/remixing old classic film soundtracks… the quality, instrumentation and the output in doing so are sad and pathetic…”

“Please tap the right talent as we have it in abundance here and STOP destroying & ruining the original. It’s become more of COPYWOOD than Bollywood (sic),” he further added. As many artists are condemning the idea of remixing the songs, we have to see whether the makers consider this request or not.

Rapper, musician and noted singer Baba Sehgal, who occasionally strikes Telugu audiences by unveiling songs on the special eves concerning power star Pawan Kalyan, is now back with his latest song.

This time, the audacious singer and musician has chosen Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his demonetization drive as the themes of his new single. With catchy lyrics and a powerful voice, Baba praised Modi’s decision and ridiculed the black money holders saying the time has come for them to bring out all the stashed money. He named the decision of PM Modi as Modi’s ‘Dynamite’.

Despite the awkward looking visuals effects, the catchy lyrics and one sexy lady gyrating throughout the song catch one’s attention.

Well known singer, lyricist and composer Baba Sehgal, a self claimed fan of power star Pawan Kalyan, is all set to release a new song on the star hero, on the eve of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday. Baba himself informed this news by tweeting, ‘ALL POWER STAR FANS : i will soon be releasing a new power song on the eve of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday’.

This is going to be the second single to be released by Baba Sehgal on Pawan Kalyan since he has already released a ‘Power Song’, on the eve of Pawan’s birthday in 2012. He shares special bond with Pawan so fans are now anxiously waiting for this single. It is known that Baba sang two chartbuster title songs for Power star’s ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Gabbar Singh’ movies.

He has recently turned into an actor and he will soon be seen playing negative roles in Guna Sekhar’s Rudramadevi and Naga Chaitnya’s new film.

Pop Singer Turns Villain For Chaitu!

Noted pop singer Baba Sehgal made his Tollywood debut as a singer with the film “Rikshavodu”, in that he sung a song “Roopu Tera Mastana..” and after that he sung a title song of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Jalsa. Recently he made his acting debut also with the film “Rudhramadevi”, which is not yet released. He played a small role as “Nga Devudu” in the film.

Now the latest news is that Baba Sehgal is going to play a full length role in Naga Chaiatanya’s new movie, which is being directed by Gautham Menon. As per the sources Baba Sehgal will appear in a negative shade police officer role in this untitled film. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. Simbhu acting in Tamil version. Baba Sehgal will be seen in both versions.

Malayalam beauty Manjima Mohan is pairing up with Chaitu in this flick. AR Rahman is composing the music.
