Akshay Kumar has once again come out in support of the cause of animal rescue and welfare. But this time Akshay has used a different and unique technique to engage more people towards the same cause.

According to reports, Akshay Kumar is putting up the naval uniform, which he donned in the film Rustom, for auction. The money from the auction will support the cause of animal rescue and welfare.

Akshay took to Twitter and wrote, “Hi all. I’m thrilled to announce that you can bid to win the actual naval officer uniform I wore in Rustom! Auction’s proceeds will support the cause of animal rescue and welfare. Place your bid at http://www.SaltScout.com !”

On the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Kesari’. He is also lined up with projects like ‘2.O’ and ‘Housefull 4’.

​Late actress, Srividya’s house has been set for auctioning by the income tax department. The house is situated at Abhiramapuram and auction is to recover actor’s IT liability. Srividya’s house has been rented to an advocate by Income tax department.

According to reports, the house will be auctioned at a starting price of Rs. 1.14 crore. Ganesh Kumar, who is the executor of Srividya said, “Her tax liabilities will have to be settled first and also the bank liabilities on her residence in the capital (Thiruvananthapuram) will also have to be settled before selling it in an auction.

Srividya has willed her property and money to ailing and underprivileged artistes before her death. She passed away in 2006 at the age of 53. A dance academy and a charitable trust, Srividiya Charitable Trust were formed after her death.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha wedding was a grand affair. The wedding took place in a grand manner where a lot of celebrities have attended the wedding. The couple also received a lot of gifts from a lot of guests. Samantha is now thinking to auction all these gifts and she wanted to use the money to spend on the poor people. Samantha always wanted to do something for the kids and the society.

She is now planning to keep all the gifts for the auction. She has revealed the same idea to husband Chaitanya Akkineni who gave a green signal.
