The teaser of Nikhil’s new film Arjun Suravaram was out yesterday on the social media and it opened to a positive response. Nikhil is seen playing the role of a journalist in the movie. The film’s teaser has been watched by Mega Star Chiranjeevi as well who sent a message heaping praises on the film unit.

In his message to the film’s producer, Chiranjeevi wrote, “Hi dear producer (Raj) Just saw Arjun Suravaram, it was quite interesting, All the very best to you, Nikhil, and director.”

Nikhil shared the screenshot saying, “My prod Rajkumar was so happy reading some mssgs on his phn. I pulled his phn 2 check wht it is ..nd OMG its the msg from our beloved Mega Star himself on #ArjunSuravaram teaser. ‘Arjun Suravaram’ is the upcoming movie of young hero Nikhil in which he will be seen playing the role of an investigative journalist. The movie is the official Telugu remake of Tamil flick ‘Kanithan’.

Santosh TN is helming this project and Lavanya Tripathi is playing the leading lady of the movie. Today on the occasion of Shivaratri, the makers have unveiled the teaser of the film. The 1-minute video is all about Nikhil and his investigation. He is looking handsome in his different look. It is known that Nikhil is known for his different concept films and we can expect another such intriguing film from Nikhil this time as well and the teaser also hinted the same.

Rajkumar Akella is bankrolling this project. The movie is slated to hit the screens on March 29. Sam CS is composing tunes for the film.

Actor Nikhil is seriously looking to score a hit after getting two back to back flops in the form of Keshava and Kirik Party. He is currently working for the film Arjun Suravaram, which has completed its shoot long back and is slated to release in March. It was earlier titled as Mudra and later got changed.

This film is an official remake of Tamil movie Kanithan. TN Santosh, who directed the original, also made this film. Apparently, he is unhappy with the cut made by editor Navin Nooli and is asking the producers to rope in another editor Bhuvan Srinivasan who edited the original.

Naveen is one of the topmost editors in Tollywood who had earlier edited films like Nannaku Prematho and Rangasthalam. A complaint on such an editor is definitely surprising. Anyways, it seems that the producers have obliged for Santosh’s request and trying to rope in Bhuvan. Lavanya Tripathi played the female lead in this film.
