So many celebrities who are also bookworms have already accepted this challenge and nominated others. Not recently, Nagarjuna’s wife and former actress Amala Akkineni has recently accepted the challenge given by Ramprasad and pledged to read ‘Stories at Work’ book. She further nominated Samantha, Sumanth and Upasana Konidela. “I accept your #ReadingIsGoodChallenge @ramvee. I pledge to read “Stories At Work”! None of the trio haven’t responded to this and we have to wait and see if they are going to accept challenge extended by Amala Akkineni or not.

Recently, the yesteryear’s superhit Jodi Jagapathi Babu and Sukanya, who were seen sharing screen space after a long hiatus of 23 years, have enthralled the audience in Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu and another hit pair Nagarjuna and Ramya Krishna were seen in latest outing Soggade Chinni Nayana.

As per the most recent reports, yet another successful pair Kamal Haasan and Ramya Krishnan are all set to dazzle on the silver screen in the most awaited ‘Amma Nanna Aata’, which will be directed by National Award-winner T K Rajeev Kumar. It is heard that Ramya Krishna will be seen in Kamal’s wife role in the film. However, an official confirmation about the same is yet to be received from the makers.

The film also features Kamal’s co-star and versatile actress Amala Akkineni, Kamal’s daughter Shruti Haasan in key roles in the film. Akkineni Amala is making a comeback with this film. Senior Bollywood actress Zarina Wahab would play an important role in the film, which will be shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages. Currently, the pre-production work is underway, and the film is all set to roll out by the end of March.

Amala in Kamal Haasan’s “Amma Nanna Aata”

Kamal Haasan latest flick ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ was released on 20th November in Telugu and gained a decent talk all over. With this film counting some good numbers near the box-office, Cheekati Rajyam team has conducted a press meet here in Hyderabad. Along with Kamal Haasan once heroine Amala has also attended the meet.

Speaking in the success meet, Kamal said, “Happy to hear that the film is doing well. Cheekati Rajyam is a variety kind of film. If such films aren’t received well, directors won’t dare to make different films in coming years.

I’m always thankful to Telugu people. They’ve welcomed me open arms with ‘Maro Charitra.’ Since then all my movies are being dubbed into Telugu, thanks to the distributors and audience who received me. ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ has once again shown your love towards different cinema. With this film’s success, I’m gearing up to do another film. Amala will be seen in a guest role in this flick and title will be ‘Amma Nanna Aata.’

In the past, our pair was a super hit. I’m hoping that people will also receive my upcoming film. Rajiv Kumar will be the director for this Romantic comedy film. Zarina Wahab is seen in a crucial role in this film” concluded Kamal.

“Cheekati Rajyam is a new kind of film on Telugu screen. The subject was handled were well. Looking forward to working with Kamal Haasan” said Amala.

In Detail: Amala who gave an entry with Tamil films in the year 1986, continued doing films in Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously. Later on she married hero Akkineni Nagarjuna in 1992 and left films. From then on she was involved in family life.

With Shekar Kammula’s “Life is Beautiful” that released in 2013, she once again appeared on the silver screen.

Currently she accepted another role for National Award winning Malayalam director T.K.Rajeev Kumar. This film also stars Kamal Hassan in the lead role. Amala will be seen as the female lead opposite Kamal in this bilingual.

Bollywod actress Zareena Wahab is also playing an important role in this film.

Kamal and Amala in the past were seen together in the silent comedy film “Pushpaka Vimanam” that released in 1987. This film was directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao.

Known to be a great animal lover, Amala gifted a camel to Charan and Upasna, who welcomed their new guest with open hands. Charan and Upasana have adopted this camel, which was brought from circus and gifted to Upasana.

Charan personally likes spending time with his horses. His favorite horse Kajal was seen in Magadheera movie. Now this camel has joined to the list of his favorite animals.
