After a successful film Viswaasam, Thala Ajith is back to the work mode again for his upcoming project. The star hero of Kollywood currently landed at Ramoji Film City for the shooting of his next film.

As per the latest buzz, Ajith will be reprising the role of Big B Amitabh Bachchan in the remake of Bollywood hit film Pink. Vinoth who earlier made his successful debut as a director with the film Khakee starring Karthi is the director of the movie. Boney Kapoor is producing the movie under his own banner.

The makers erected a special set at Ramoji Film City and the current schedule will happen at a length. Shraddha Srinath is playing Taapsee’s role in the movie.

Ajith and his favorite director Siva seem to be obsessed with lucky dates and numbers. The duo prefers Thursdays for film launches and releases, the latest update is that ’10’ seems to be the lucky number for them.

Ajith and Siva combo’s earlier two films Veeram and Vedalam were released on January 10, 2015, and November 10, 2016, respectively. As per the latest reports, their third film ‘Vivegam’ will be hitting the screens on August 10, which is again a Thursday.

Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Anirudh Ravichander is in charge for songs and background score for the film. Kajal Aggarwal plays Ajith’s wife in Vivegam, the film also has Akshara Haasan and Vivek Oberoi playing important roles.

As per sources, Thala Ajith will yet again reunite with ‘Billa 2’ director Chakri Tholeti.

It is well known that ‘Billa’ directed by Vishnuvardhan and starring Ajith was a major blockbuster. The sequel to that film ‘Billa 2’ directed by Chakri Tholeti was released amid huge expectations but it was a disaster. After scoring back to back successes, Ajith is currently taking rest after his leg surgery.

Meanwhile he has been in discussions with many filmmakers for possible collaborations. As per sources, Chakri has met Ajith and got his nod for the remake of a Hollywood film ’21 Grams’, an Award-winning English film will be adapted to Tamil nativity by Chakri and if the final version can convince Ajith, the film will roll.

As per the latest buzz in tinsel town, Ajith will next team up with the producer of ‘Billa 2’.With successive hits, Ajith’s stardom rising in Kollywood and after the latest success of ‘Vedalam’, everyone is eagerly waiting to known about his next project.

After doing three successive movies like ‘Aarrambham’, ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ and ‘Vedalam’ for AM Ratnam, Ajith is heard to be planning to give another chance to Suresh Balaji, the producer of his ‘Billa 2’. As Suresh lost money due to the flop of ‘Billa 2’, Ajith decided to give him another chance.

Neither Ajith nor Suresh Balaji has confirmed this news though. Ajith is expected to start his next film only in the second half of 2016, due to his surgery.
