Akshay Kumar has become the care-of-address for patriotic films. After a series of patriotic movies like Baby, Airlift, and Rustom, he is now coming up with Mission Mangalyaan. This movie is based on the successful Mars mission ‘Mangalyaan’ conducted by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

The trailer of the film was launched this morning and going by it, looks like Akshay is going to strike gold again at the box office. During the trailer launch, Akshay said that NASA spent 600 million dollars while ISRO has successfully done it with a budget of Rs. 450 crores.

He also added that the expenses of Mangalyaan are less than the budget of his film 2.0, which is of Rs. 500 crores. Mission Mangalayan is directed by Jagan Shakti and it features Vidya Balan, Sharman Joshi, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Nitya Menen in the other key roles. It is slated to release on the 15th of August.

We are already aware that Thala Ajith has remade Hindi courtroom drama Pink into Tamil. Titled as Nerkonda Paarvai, this film is directed by H. Vinoth of Khakhee fame. A few changes have been made in Tamil version in order to suit the sensibilities of the local audience.

The film is now censored and got a U/A certificate from the censor board. It is now all set to release on the 8th of August. Already the theatrical trailer and a couple of songs were released from the film and all of them got a positive response from the audience. Ajith fans are eagerly waiting to see their favorite star in an offbeat role.

Nerkonda Paarvai features Shraddha Srinath in another lead role. Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is playing an important cameo in it. This film marks the debut of Vidya in Tamil cinema. Boney Kapoor has bankrolled this project.

It may be noted that Vidya married UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor and she continued to act in films even after marriage. Siddharth, however, had no qualms with his wife’s audacious and raunchy acts in movies.

However, it is heard that recently some differences have cropped up between the two and they might head for divorce. Responding to these reports, Vidya laughed off and said that she didn’t have to take a selfie with her husband to prove that all was well between them.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan and her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur had to cancel their New Year celebrations in Abu Dhabi as just when the flight was about to take off, Vidya complained of extreme back pain and rushed to a hospital.

The couple was first taken to a clinic at the airport for medical examinations. After getting minimal treatment, they took a flight back to Mumbai, and she was admitted to a private hospital. Doctors suspected of Vidya having Kidney stones and few more tests have to be performed.

The spokesperson of Vidya refused to reveal the exact reason her ill health but informed that she is recovering now. We hope the National award winning actress recovers soon.
