After the successful Petta, Superstar Rajinikanth is acting in the film Darbar which is being directed by star filmmaker AR Murugadoss. Already, the film has completed half of its shoot. Most of the filming is being done in Mumbai as Rajini will be seen as a Mumbai cop in the movie.

Recently, an on-location picture is being flown in media in which Rajini is seen in a cop avatar. Rajini looks suave in the cop uniform and it seems that fans will have a feast watching their favorite actor in a police avatar after such a long time. This is not the first picture that leaked from the sets as the makers are facing this problem since the start of the shoot.

Lady Superstar Nayanthara is playing the female lead in this movie. Darbar is being produced by Lyca Productions and Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for it. This film is slated for the release during Pongal 2020.

Mahesh23 is one of the prestigious films being made in Telugu film industry currently. A R Muragadoss is the director of the film. Tagore Madhu and N V Prasad are the producers. The film has Rakul Preet Singh playing the leading lady. The film is tipped to be an action thriller and the makers have plans to spend almost 100 to 120 crores as a budget for the film. This is huge for a Mahesh babu film so far.

Also, we hear that there are several parties eager to grab the satellite, audio and dubbing rights of the film. Zee Network is the front runner to grab a deal for the audio and satellite rights altogether for 18.5 crores which is really very huge. Also, the TV network has plans to grab the satellite rights of the film in other languages as well. As of now, nothing was confirmed and more details about the same are awaited.
