The controversial Beep song composed by Anirudh and sung by Simbu has turned troublesome for the star duo as Police are hellbent on arresting them.
Following a formal complaint by members of All-India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA), a Coimbatore police team has reached Chennai and landed at the houses of both Simbu and Anirudh for formal arrest. As the duo anticipated this, they have absconded, police said.

While the whereabouts of Simbu are unknown, Anirudh is said to be in Toronto for a music concert. Police served summons asking them to appear before them by 19th of this month.
The Beep song was first leaked on YouTube and it subsequently went viral.It is known that the ‘Beep song’ with full of cuss words against women was leaked on WhatsApp before it went viral.
