Shruti Haasan is all set to give her musical spirit a very special outlet this year. She’s getting ready to release a single in collaboration with music directors Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonca on the occasion of Women’s Day (March 8) this year. Earlier, she lent her voice for several Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films including Race Gurram, Aagadu, D-Day, Vedalam, Shamitabh and Puli.
After a long hiatus, Shruti Haasan has reportedly written and sung a song, albeit for a completely different purpose. Speaking of the song, Shruti Haasan said, “While writing this song, my main focus was giving a voice to all women in general. Each one’s journey and battle is different. She further added, “I was glad to be able to write and sing this song. Musically, it goes back to the roots of what I’ve always loved — rock ‘n’ roll.”
Meanwhile, Shruti has already wrapped up shooting for Premam, except for a song and she will be next seen in a Bollywood film titled Rocky Handsome opposite John Abrahm.
