One day, Viswanatham’s daughter Indhu (Payal) comes across Shiva and falls for him instantly. She expresses her love to him, and slowly Shiva also falls for her. All of a sudden, Indhu marries another person and leaves Shiva. What happens then? Why did Indhu leave Shiva? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the movie.

Performances:

Karthikeya is a new hero to the Tollywood who is sure to have a long way to go. His performance in the movie is indeed a remarkable one in his career. The actor did well in songs, fights and also delivered some great dialogues. His body language is different, and he impressed with his histrionics. Payal Rajput is the heroine who impressed with her looks and also performance. Ramki, a senior actor who made his comeback in Telugu film industry with this film is also good. Rao Ramesh has played a decent character in the movie and has made his presence felt. All the other actors were excellent and did justice for their roles.

Writing department:

Karthikeya and Payal in RX100
Karthikeya and Payal in RX100

Ajay Bhupathi is the writer and director of the movie. He has penned an intense love story for the film which is different from what all we have seen in the recent times. The rural backdrop has been an added advantage for the movie. The story is predictable, and the screenplay is very much annoying. The dialogues also failed to make a mark.

Technical Aspects:

The film has cinematography by Raam. His method of playing with lighting and colors is excellent. He has shown the locations of the village in a beautiful manner. The editing by Praveen K L is neat and decent. The music by Chethan Bharadwaj is good. A couple of songs from the audio album have become hit. The fights are natural and intense. The artwork is excellent. The production values are perfect.

Verdict:

The movie RX100 is a romantic entertainer with an interesting twist. The movie shifts from present to flashback and takes us on an exciting ride. The film’s first half introduces the characters correctly, but the conflict is only revealed in the second half. The interval point is also very normal. The characterizations of the hero and heroine have come out well, but the twist could have been dealt with well. There are some ups and downs in the screenplay with a lot of drags in emotional sequences. The second half of the movie appears hurried. Except for Rao Ramesh’s scene with his daughter, there is nothing much in the film that is worth mentioning as the rest of the film is flat and usual. On the whole, the film unit wantedly generated a lot of hype, but it is not worthy of it.
