Finally, two big movies Robot 2.o and Baahubali 2 shooting started today.
Finally, the much awaited sequel to the 2010 blockbuster film ‘Robot’ has gone on floors. Director Shankar has roped in Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar to play the villain opposite Superstar Rajinikanth.
Shankar earlier approached Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the villain but when he couldn’t sign, Shankar wanted HrithikRoshan on board. As the star hero couldn’t allot dates, finally Akshay Kumar has been signed. Akshay will be making his Tamil film debut with this visual extravaganza.
Titled ‘Robot 2.0’, the film has AR Rahman composing music and Amy Jackson playing a sexy robot. Akshay’s inclusion as the villain is expected to make the project a viable one in North Indian circuit. Lyca Productions is producing it with over Rs 250 Crore budget.
