Coming from back to back disasters like Kochadaiyaan and Lingaa, Superstar Rajinikanth is banking on his latest flick “Kabali”. “Kabali” is an action thriller based on a mafia don, in which Rajni will play the title role. Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kabali is being produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu.
On September 17th, the regular shooting of the film has started on a low profile basis. Rajni’s old look with a white beard is the trending topic all over Chennai. Many recalled Rajni’s blockbuster “Baasha” after the first look of “Kabali” was revealed.
Another interesting topic is that the producer has built a set that resembles Thai land. In a studio located in Chennai, the team sketched a set that is much closer to the popular locations in Thailand. It took a huge sum of money to the producers to build a set that resembles like Thailand. Till October 7th shooting goes on in these sets, later on “Kabali” moves to Bangkok, Goa and finally Hyderabad.
Radhika Apte will be the female lead opposite Superstar. The producers have already registered a powerful title of this film in Telugu. This movie has targeted audience in January coming year.
