After the exit of AR Rahman from the project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, the makers considered multiple options for scoring the music for the movie. They initially thought of roping in Thaman S, MM Keeravani and Ilaiyaraaja but they have finally zeroed on a Bollywood music composer.
Going by the updates from the film unit, Amit Trivedi is on board to score the film’s music. Amit Trivedi is known for his works in Bollywood. He is a composer, music director, singer and lyricist. He debuted as a film composer in the 2008 Hindi film Aamir. He received a National Award for the work in the film Dev.D. He also scored the music for the films like Secret Superstar, Queen, Dear Zindagi, Padman and many other superhits. He is also going to score for Prabhas’ next movie in the direction of Radha Krishna Kumar.
Being made on the life of the freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, Sye Raa will feature an ensemble cast like Nayanathara, Tamannah Bhatia, Ram Charan, Sudeep, Vijay Setupathi, Brahmaji, Amitabh Bachchan and others.
