Superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the works of his next film called Sarileru Neekevvaru, which is being directed by Anil Ravipudi. On the other side, star director Puri Jagannath scored a blockbuster after a long time, with his new film iSmart Shankar and silenced all the people who said that his career was over.
Anyways, Puri was supposed to do a film called Jana Gana Mana with Mahesh Babu. But it never went on floors for some reason. Recently, Puri was asked about the film in a promotional interview of iSmart Shankar. Immediately, he said that even Mahesh fans ask the same question every time but it was Mahesh who didn’t opt to do the film.
“Mahesh fans regularly ask me about Jana Gana Mana. But Mahesh only works with me when I deliver hits and doesn’t care if I am in a poor form. I respect Mahesh fans more than Mahesh now.” Puri also added that he would not do the film now even if Mahesh comes forward. These statements have hurt Mahesh fans and Puri has been receiving a heavy backlash from them now.
