Following the Pulwama attacks, Bollywood has decided to not hire any artistes from Pakistan for the films made in India. All the artists hailing from Pakistan are banned with immediate effect. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has taken this revolutionary decision.
With the effect of this decision, Pak artists like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, Mahira Khan, and Fawad Khan can no longer act in Bollywood films. All the citizens of India welcomed this decision taken by the FWICE, in support of the martyred soldiers.
In the press statement, FWICE chief Ashoke Pandit stated “Were officially announcing a total ban on Pakistani Actors and Artists working in Film Industry. Still, if any organization insist on working with Pakistani Artists will be banned by AICWA and strong action will be taken against them. The nation comes first, we stand with our nation.”
