Out of the lot, sports-based biopics enjoy a huge following given that the fact that many sports stars enjoy immense stardom in our country. Many films like Dangal, MS Dhoni, Mary Kom and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, minted huge amount of money at the box office in the past.
Now, films are being made on sports stars like Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu and Abhinav Bindra. The latest addition to the list is a film on Tennis stalwart Sania Mirza. Popular production house RSVP Pictures, headed by Ronnie Screwala, will be producing this biopic of this Hyderabadi born star.
Sania herself shared the news on social media and revealed that it is just like butterflies in your stomach kind of felling with excitement combined with nervousness. She expressed her confidence in Ronnie and said that he will definitely make her story in an authentic way. More details about the cast and crew will be revealed soon.
