Naga Chaitanya’s Premam Remake ‘Majnu’ Muhurtham Fixed

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming project which is a Malayalam remake of “Premam” will begin its shooting from 1st of December. The title of this remake is rumored as Majnu. The pooja formalities for this film will be done on the 30th of November and the regular shooting will commence from the very next day.

This film is being directed by Nikhil’s “Karthikeya” fame Chandu Mondeti. Shruti Hassan and Aanupama Parameshwaran will be the two heroines. Since the original film has three ladies, hunt for the third heroine is still continuing. Amyra Dastur of “Anegan” fame in under serious consideration as the third heroine.

Talk has that Shruti has already received a pay check of Rs 1.50 Cr for this film, which is 50Lakh more than her regular payment.

Rumors have that Chaitu’s father, hero Nagarjuna and uncle Venkatesh will appear in this film. Nagarjuna will play a small cameo, while victory Venkatesh might play the character of Chaitu’s uncle.

Majnu will do its shooting in places like Visakhapatnam, Araku Valley, Pollachi, Goa and Europe. The director and the producer of this film are planning to release this romantic drama in month of March 2016.

Naga Chaitanya is currently shooting for Gautham Menon’s “Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo” which releases by the end of this year.
