After facing a disappointing start to his career with commercial failures like Akhil and Hello, Akhil Akkineni is now testing his luck with new film Mr.Majnu. Directed by Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema fame, this film is touted to be a new age rom-com and is slated for a release on January 25.
Recently, the theatrical trailer of the film was released and is getting a good response from the audience. Akhil, who had tried action genre is the past is now coming with a full-fledged romantic film. The film was censored today and was certified with U/A with zero cuts.
Venky Atluri has proved that he is a master in handling love stories and going with the trailer, it seems that he has another winner in hand. Nidhi Agarwal played the female lead in the film and it is produced by BVSN Prasad.
