He happens to meet Meera (Simran Pareenja) and falls for her at first sight. He and his gang tries a lot to get Meera fall for one of them but with Krishna being team leader or something like that and for his enthusiastic moves she falls for him. How he is changed as a better one by Satya (Samyuktha Hegde) is crux of the story.

Cast and Performance

Nikhil Siddharth as Krishna who has two variations in his role is superb. He is good in both the variations right from his look and body language. Simran Pareenja as Meera is good. Samyuktha Hegde is nice as Satya. Rakendu Mouli and other actors who acted as friends of Nikhil are good. Brahmaji is fine in his role as Mechanic. Deepthi Sunaina is okay as a friend of Satya. Hanumanthu Gowda as Principal of college is nice. All other actors are fine.

Story of Kiraak party is very thin. It is more of screenplay driven movie and dialogues by Chandoo Mondeti are nice.

Technical Departments

Music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath who happens to be the composer for original Kiriki Party has reprised the same tunes for the Telugu version. They are good to hear. His background score is nice. Cinematography by Advaitha Gurumurthy is fine.

Stunts are choreographed well. Production values are rich.

Verdict

Kiraak party is story of Krishna from his first year to his final year of engineering in his college. Whenever someone remake a movie from another language then it is so common for audience to compare with the original. Coming to this remake, original version stands tall in every aspect and it offers a lot of entertainment. This Kiraak Party is a movie which is lost in translation and the magic that is created with the original version is lost in this version. Director Sharan Koppisetty has done an okay job in handling this movie. Chandoo Mondeti has done a good work with his dialogues adding fun part in them. The part of Krishna and Meera is superb and this lasts for a very short time and after that Krishna becomes serious by character and the pace of the movie too changes. The underlying message in the story is good and it is conveyed in a very subtle way. To summarise, Kiraak Party is a one time watchable entertainer for its fun part.
