Bollywood’s comedian Rajpal Yadav was sentenced to six-month imprisonment by Karkardooma Court for seven cheque bounce cases. There were several allegations and cases against Rajpal Yadav for not repaying a loan worth over Rs 8 crore to a businessman.
Rajpal Yadav and his wife Radha Yadav and a private company in connection with a loan case were convicted last Friday. MG Agarwal (owner of Murli Projects) had given a loan to Rajpal Yadav and his wife had signed the bond together. The couple reportedly borrowed money from the businessman for Rajpal’s Hindi debut directional film ‘Ata Pata Laapata’. The businessman had filed a case against Yadav and his wife in the high court after they failed to repay him the amount.
