Cast and performance

Bala Krishna Nandamuri as Narasimha is superb. He excelled in his dialogues, action sequences and emotional sequences. His energy levels in Amma Kutty song are unmatchable by any hero of his generation or present generation. He is a delight for his fans in this movie. Hari Priya is fine in her role and she looks good. Nayanathara as Gowri is superb and she lived upto the hype and she is gorgeous. Murali Mohan and Brahmanandam are good. Ashutosh Rana and Kalakeya Prabhakar are nice. Prakash Raj is fine in a pivotal role. All other actors did a fine job according to their roles.

Verdict

Jai Simha is a story of a guy who goes to any extent for the sake of justice. When he is like that, his family gets involved with it and to save them from antagonists he leaves his rowdyism and leaves the city for the sake of his family and his new born child. Director KS Ravi Kumar did an okay job in handling this movie. The comedy sequences featuring Brahmanandham doesn’t entertain at all. In fact, they act as speed breakers. Director relied most on the family sequences and they work well with family audience. Nandamuri Bala Krishna who is the lead actor of this movie did everything to satisfy his fans but comedy sequences plays the negative role. To sum up, Jai Simha is a family drama from NBK and K S Ravi Kumar combination.
