New director and hero Kovera is saying that he has penned the script of ‘U’ movie for Power Star Pawan Kalyan. But as Pawan bid goodbyes to films and is concentrating more on his political works these days, he himself starred in the film.
Presented by Naganika Chagam Reddy, Konda Vijayalakshmi under Kovera Creations bankrolled this project. The movie is slated to hit the screens on 14th of this month. Talking in a press meet, where is saying that the story of the Kovera is saying that the story itself is the hero of the film. “I worked under writer Vijayendra Prasad for 4 years. With that experience, I wrote ‘U’ story. As soon as they listened to the Script, Subhalekha Sudhakar and Tanikella Bharani came forward to act in the film. The movie starts with a village backdrop and ends with the underworld backdrop. In the past eight years, no director has ever touched this concept. Initially, I wrote this project for Pawan Kalyan and the movie was supposed to be made with the budget of 100 crores. But as we don’t have that much, we completed the movie with 1 crore and shot the film with Helium 8k cameras. ‘U’ is the first Indian movie to be shot with that cameras” said Kovera.
Subhalekha Sudhakar said that the movie came out well and Tanikella Bharani congratulated the director and his and confidently said that the movie will definitely become a hit. Himanshi Katragadda and Swapna Rao played the female leads in the movie
