Ram Charan is undoubtedly the biggest crowd puller in the Telugu states, but it is an undeniable fact that he is pretty weak in overseas.
None of Ram Charan’s film has so far breached the 1 million mark in the US. Even with a star director like Sreenu Vaitla, who enjoys good following in the US, Charan failed to pull audiences to theaters in overseas. His last release ‘Bruce Lee’ remains one of the biggest losing ventures in the US.
Despite all this, Classis Cinemas have come forward to acquire the overseas rights of Ram Charan’s new film ‘Dhruva’ by shelling out a reasonably good price. Rs 5 Cr deal has been clinched by the makers for overseas rights.
Directed by Surender Reddy, Dhruva is the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster action thriller ‘Thani Oruvan.’ Rakul Preet is playing the leading lady.
