Thala Ajith seems to be at the peak of his acting career. His recent release ‘Vedalam’ that hit theatres on Diwali is raining collections, despite heavy rains abstracting the daily life in Tamil Nadu. According to reports, Ajith is likely to start the sequel for ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ coming year.
After his successful knee surgery, Ajith will be taking a gap from films for three months. In the meantime, he travels to the US and stays there for some period. Once he returns he will decide which film to do, as he has committed himself to do films with few directors.
Extremely, ‘Vedalam’ director Siva is being publicized by the Kollywood media of once again directing Ajith. In the past, Ajith and Siva worked for blockbuster ‘Veeram’ in 2014. And, now ‘Vedalam’ too becoming a hit, Ajith is most likely to do a film for Siva.
On the other hand, director Vishnuvardhan was advised by Ajith to come up with a historic story. As per, Ajith’s orders, Vishnu has prepared a historic film, and this could be the life history of Raja Raja Chola.
Apart from these two films there is a scope for another film. During the shooting of ‘Yennai Arindhaal,’ Ajith promised director Gautham Menon to act in the sequel if the film becomes a success. With this film becoming a huge success director Menon started preparing the sequel story work and narrates it to Ajith when he returns to India.
With such commitments around him, which will Ajith chose is the big question.
