Ever since Karthik Subbaraj announced a film with Rajinikanth, there has been a lot of positive buzz about the project. One reason – the director himself is a huge fan of the Superstar, and second reason is this could be Superstar’s last film, since he’s already into politics.
Now, as per latest reports, Deepika Padukone and Trisha are the front-runners to play the female lead in this film. While Deepika has worked with him in Kochadaiyaan, Trisha hasn’t worked with him till date. In her interviews, Trisha has expressed interest in working with the Superstar because she hasn’t got the chance.
The film will be produced on a big budget by the renowned production house, Sun Pictures. The music will be scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
