Akkineni Nagarjuna and Karthi starrer ‘Oopiri’ was once considered a risky project as Audiences don’t encourage such novel subjects.
But, much to the surprise of makers, the film became a solid grosser in both Telugu and Tamil languages. Now, the heart touching film is set to be remade in Hindi. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is in talks to act in the remake.
If he gets convinced with the idea, he will reprise the role played by Nagarjuna. If Big B says yes, the film will get huge mileage as the megastar has the capacity of playing any role with ease.
Top filmmaker, Karan Johar has acquired the Hindi remake rights of ‘Oopiri’ and he is negotiating with Big B to act in the film. For the role of Karthi, young hero Varun Dhawan is said to be in talks.
