SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali has done unbelievable business across the globe. Being a Telugu movie, a regional cinema, no one expected it to do Rs 570 Crore worldwide business but it did. As per analysts, after the release of ’Baahubali’, now Telugu cinema market has suddenly looking at 100 Crore share movies.
Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi was the industry hit until Baahubali released. It did business of around 75 Crore share worldwide, with gross of nearly 140 Crore. When everyone was hoping for a movie which could do 100 Crore share, Baahubali has come and stunned the entire country. Now after watching Srimanthudu’s business, around 57 Crore share in just first week, it can be confidently said that it will beat Attharintiki Daredi in full run and might break the 100 Crore share mark as well. With biggies like ‘Merupu’, Ma Nannaku Prematho, Sardaar etc lined up, Telugu cinema is roaring to break records.
