“Baahubali” which is slowly fading away from the theaters is getting ready to be telecasted for the first on Television. The movie broke all the records in Indian Cinema, is gearing to top the TRP’s of Telugu Television cinemas.
On October 25th which is Sunday, Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamanna starrer Baahubali is being telecasted on Telugu channel MAA T.V.
MAA TV has acquired the Television rights of Baahubali at a huge price. To cover the hugely invested money and make profits out of it the TV channel is quoting a very high price for its ad agencies. The price that is being quoted by the MAA is giving a nightmare to the ad agencies.
Sources close to the channel has revealed that the channel to expecting to reach a mark of Rs 4.2-4.5 crores by ad revenue and the sponsorship from the premiere of Baahubali. Since the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has made clear that only 12 minutes of ad’s per hour, the channel’s are increasing the content of the programme and by cashing upon it. As per the sources, MAA TV charging almost Rs 2.5 lakhs per 10 seconds Ad during the Baahubali movie time.
Baahubali, whose run time is 2 hours and 39 minutes, is expected to be aired for more than 3 hours and 30 minutes on MAA TV. So the rough fetch of revenue will be around 4.2 crores. The sales team of the tele-channel is in the process of finalising the deal with the top brands.
