Yarlagadda Supriya is the granddaughter of the veteran actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) and sister of Sumanth. Supriya’s strategic and organizational vision is strong. She debuted as an actress with Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi, directed by E.V.V. Satyanarayana and produced by Mega producer Allu Aravind under Geeta Arts Banner in 1996.
Later Supriya moved to studies and then took the role of a director in Annapurna Studios. She got married and divorced to late Charan Reddy, who acted as hero in Ishtam directed by Vikram K Kumar and Raj Kumar in 2001.
Now according to the latest update, she is making her comeback in Telugu film Industry. It is heard that Y. Supriya will be seen playing a crucial role in upcoming movie Goodachari in which Adivi Sesh and Sobhita Dhulipala are playing the lead role. Adivi Sesh and Sumanth are very close friends and share a good rapport. It is heard that Adivi Sesh requested her to act in the movie and she accepted the offer.
