The first look of ‘Sarbjit’, the controversial biopic of Indian farmer Sarbjit Singh, who was convicted of spying for Pakistan, was unveiled by the director of the film Omung Kumar.
Omung Kumar shared the first look by tweeting, ” #SARBJIT shoot starts today @Vanita_ok #AishwaryaRai @RandeepHooda @RichaChadha_ @DarshanKumaar @SandeepsinghOne .”
Sarbjit stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha, Darshan Kumar, etc. Randeep Hooda will play the role of Sarabjit, Aishwarya Rai will be seen as his sister Dalbir Kaur, and Richa Chadha will be seen as his wife.
Sarabjit is expected to uncover the tale of how an ordinary farmer is wrongly convicted of being a Spy.
Omung Kumar’s last directorial was ‘Mary Kom’ starring Priyanka Chopra.
