Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan has scored a colossal disaster with his last film, Thugs of Hindostan. After that failure, Aamir is looking forward to coming back hard this time. He was approached to do the biopic of astronaut Rakesh Sharma, but the actor didn’t show interest in it.
According to the B-Town buzz, Aamir is planning to remake Hollywood classic Forrest Gump in Hindi. It seems that he had already acquired the remake rights from the original producers, Paramount Pictures. He is now making a few changes into the script to suit the sensibilities of the Indian audience.
The official announcement is expected to be made soon by Aamir, says the sources. Forrest Gump is a 1994 drama film which had Tom Hanks as the lead. It has won the Best Picture Award at Oscars and Hanks was awarded with Best Actor for his performance in the film.
