It is already known a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being made with actor Vivek Oberoi as the lead. Omung Kumar of Mary Kom and Sarabjit fame is directing this project. Marathi actor Manoj Joshi is essaying the role of BJP chief Amit Shah in the movie.
Currently, the shoot of this film is taking place in some picturesque locations of Uttarakhand. But in an unfortunate incident in the shoot the other day, actor Vivek Oberoi was hurt. The actor hurt himself while shooting for a sequence in Harshil Valley. He got a cut in his leg from a pointed branch of a tree. Vivek was immediately treated by doctors and the unit members said that he is doing fine.
The unit is shooting some key events of Modi’s life in this ongoing schedule. A special set of Srinagar’s Lal Chawk was erected in Dharali Bazaar and the scene of Modi unfurling the national flag was shot there. The film is being bankrolled by Legend Global Studio.
