Jimikki Kamal is the popular Malayali song that has become instant viral. The song was taken from the film Velipadinte Pusthakam. After creating a sensation on the YouTube, the makers had to remove the song due to the copyright issue. By the time it was removed, the video song has touched 8 Cr views.
The film music director Shaan Rehman has created a Facebook post regarding the same telling, “Dear friends, Jimikki Kamal has been removed from the YouTube. Already 8 Cr people have watched this and everyone celebrated the Malayali song. We removed the song due to a copyright issue. A channel has got the copyrights of our movie and as directed by them, we had to remove the video. This is just a business deal. Even though the song was removed from YouTube, they could not remove it from the hearts of listeners.” said, Shaan Rehman.
