It is very common to see biopics landing in troubles over many issues, just as the release date nears. The latest entrant of the list is Yatra, which is based on the life of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajashekhar Reddy. Directed by Mahi V Raghav, this film has Mammootty as the lead reprising the role of YSR.
Now, the film has landed in legal trouble as M Murugan of Sri Saai Lakshmi Pictures filed a case on the film over the title row. Murugan claimed that he registered the title and the script long back in Film and Television Guild of South India. The court will hear the case on 6th February in Chennai.
Murugan also added that his film is gearing for the release by this month’s end. The shoot of Yatra has been wrapped up and the film is slated to release worldwide on February 8.
