Windies 304 all out, India 151/4 at tea on Day 2

West Indies were all out for 304 in their first innings on the second day of the opening Test against India at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in New Delhi on Monday.West Indies started their first innings on the second day with experienced batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Baugh on the crease after the visitors scored 256/5 on the opening day.

India made a brisk start to reach 39-0 at lunch on day two Monday in reply to West Indies’ first innings score of 304 in the first test at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium.

India lost wickets at regular intervals after a good start against West Indies on the second day of the first Test at Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi on Monday.

West Indies dismissed VVS Laxman (1) and Sachin Tendulkar (7) in quick succession as India continued to lose wickets in pair. Laxman became young Devendra Bishoo’s second victim as India were reduced to 120/4 from 89/0 inside ten overs.

The wait for 100th international hundred from the master continued when fast-bowler Fidel Edwards trapped Sachin leg before.

India also lost Virender Sehwag (55) and Gautam Gambhir (41) in quick succession after they gave the hosts a flying start against the visitors.
